CQS attends certificate award ceremony, organized by Article 19

On November 18, 2023, ARTICLE 19 organized the Certificate Award Ceremony for graduates of the Online Course for Religious Schools, Marginalized Groups, and other Media Activities on Media Information Literacy (MIL), developed by CQS. The event took place at Hotel Bengal Blueberry in Gulshan-2. Distinguished guests included Professor Dr. Sumon Rahman from ULAB, Silke Schemeer from German Cooperation, and Rumky Farhana from Article 19. In addition, Fact-checker and Research Assistant from CQS, Shuvashish Das Ray Dip, Suborno Rekha Dolon, and Arafat Hossain attended the ceremony as honored guests. Dr. Rahman talked about how Bangladesh is catching up with the rest of the world in dealing with misinformation and fact-checking, even though it's not doing as well in some other areas. Shuvashish, Suborno and Arafat also talked about their experiences holding workshops for these graduates in different parts of Bangladesh.
