CQS, ULAB hosts training on International Credit Mobility and International Relations Office Management

Center for Critical and Qualitative Studies (CQS), ULAB organized a successful training on International Credit Mobility and International Relations Management for the staff members under the Erasmus+ HARMONY project. The training took place at HARMONY lab, ULAB Research Building on April 8, 2023.
The training was designed to equip faculty and staff members with the necessary skills and knowledge required for successful international credit mobility and international relations management. It covered topics such as the European Union's Erasmus+ program, international student and faculty exchanges, international partnerships, and strategies for managing international relations.

Professor Imran Rahman, Vice-Chancellor of ULAB delivered the welcome speech of the training session and expressed that this initiative will equip the staff members to handle international partnerships and exchanges, which will benefit our university in the long run.

The training was facilitated by ULAB’s Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Jude W. Genilo, Habibur Rahman (Joint Registrar, ULAB), and Jennifer Hossain (Director, ULAB International Affairs Office). Professor Dr. Jude W. Genilo explained about the Internationalization of Higher Education and its scopes and opportunities of it. Habibur Rahman (Joint Registrar, ULAB) shared his knowledge and experience regarding international credit mobility. Jennifer Hossain (Director, ULAB International Affairs Office) shared the formation of ULAB’s international relations office and its alignment with the internationalization at home concept with the participants. 

A total of 25 participants joined this training; particularly from ULAB’s admin staff, admission office, registrar office and HR office. The training sessions were interactive and engaging, allowing participants to ask questions and share their own experiences. The success of this training is a testament to ULAB’s commitment to providing its staff members with the necessary skills and knowledge required to excel in their respective roles in the process of promoting internationalization at home.
