Inauguration of HARMONY Hangout by ULAB VC

As a part of the Erasmus+ HARMONY project framework, ULAB has established a multicultural space titled “HARMONY Hangout” to enhance and improve support services and cultural exchanges for international students. On February 22, 2023, Professor Imran Rahman, Vice Chancellor of ULAB inaugurated the international student exchange corner.

The “HARMONY Hangout” will serve as a social gathering place and a multi-cultural hub where students from various cultural backgrounds can interact, collaborate, and share their learnings, ideas and worldviews and learn from each other. This place, with the support from ULAB International Affairs office, will also provide necessary guidance to students who are looking forward to participating in international student exchange programs.

Professor Sumon Rahman, ULAB’s HARMONY project lead and Director of the Center for Critical and Qualitative Studies, Lt. Col. Md. Foyzul Islam, Registrar, ULAB, Jennifer Hossain, Director of ULAB’s International Affairs Office and Dr. Pinki Shah, Professor (School of Business), were also present at the inauguration ceremony to discuss the scopes and opportunities for students from this project.
